The Challenge
Wendy Behar needed an update to her existing custom Showit website. While her primary work is as a therapist and addiction recovery coach, she’s also a seasoned speaker and conference facilitator but her website didn’t reflect the depth of her expertise in either area. Over time, different designers had created individual pages, resulting in an inconsistent look and a disjointed user experience that made it hard to present a unified, professional brand.
Our Approach
We began with a strategy session to identify which updates would best support the direction Wendy’s business was growing into – both in her therapy and addiction recovery work and in her speaking engagements. From there, I created customized copy guides for her new pages and refined her existing ones. The updated design and new custom add-on page bring her site into a more cohesive, professional look that reflects her warm, grounding personality.
Her website now includes a fully optimized footer following SEO best practices with complete NAP, a mobile-first layout, a custom Press page, streamlined Calendly integration on a newly designed Contact page, and AI-optimized FAQs woven throughout to support both search visibility and client clarity

The newly built Press page elevates Wendy’s brand by organizing her event participation, published articles, videos, and media features into one clean, easy-to-navigate hub. This page now highlights her credibility as a therapist, addiction recovery coach, and speaker, but most importantly, it includes a built-in contact form so event organizers can easily reach out for future opportunities.
Showit Website Redesign Key Features
I reorganized her podcast page and added clear descriptions for each episode to improve readability and strengthen SEO. The updated layout makes it easier for visitors (and search engines) to understand her content, increasing visibility and helping her expertise reach a wider audience.
The redesigned Contact page now features an integrated Calendly scheduler for immediate discovery call bookings, a clear section outlining her group session offerings, and a streamlined built-in contact form. The updated layout replaces the cluttered original with an organized, user-friendly design that makes it effortless for visitors to connect with Wendy.
The refreshed “Contact Me” page now feels more personal and intentional, featuring new design elements like polaroid-style images that reflect Wendy’s warm, approachable personality. I also added strategic internal links, including direct access to her podcast and Press page, to strengthen SEO and guide visitors through her most important content. The result is a cohesive, inviting page that supports both connection and discoverability.
Wendy elevated her testimonials by adding a dedicated video testimonial section, featuring client stories presented in an interactive canvas for an engaging, immersive experience. Each video gives visitors a real, authentic look at the impact of her work. The section ends with a clear call-to-action inviting users to visit her Google Business Profile, helping reinforce trust while boosting her online credibility.
The mobile redesign ensures Wendy’s website feels seamless and intuitive on every device. I refined spacing, typography, and layout for easier reading, optimized buttons and CTAs for thumb-friendly navigation, and reorganized key sections—like her Press, Podcast, and Contact pages—so they load cleanly and guide users without overwhelm. The result is a faster, more accessible mobile experience that supports her clients on the go.
Project Summary
This project was a full Showit website refresh (or glowup ;)) designed to elevate Wendy Behar’s brand as a therapist, addiction recovery coach, and speaker/facilitator. The redesign included strategic updates to her site structure, custom Showit page builds, improved page layouts, SEO-optimized copy guides, and mobile-first design enhancements.
We created a new Press page to showcase her media features, added an improved Contact page with built-in Calendly integration, reorganized her podcast page for better SEO, and refined her overall design for a more cohesive, professional user experience.
